CSI team up with Metrol to install pallet racking and industrial shelving at their new premises.

The Client

Metrol is an international technology company with a strong research and development base in electronic and mechanical engineering. Their products and services provide invaluable assistance in the exploration and development of oil and gas wells.

The Challenge

Metrol commissioned CSI (formerly ESE) to fit out their new warehouse following their premises relocation as a result of a recent company expansion.

The Solution

The project involved the full design, supply and installation of pallet racking and industrial shelving. CSI s worked in partnership with Metrol to create a modern and efficient warehouse that will support the business as it continues to grow. The company was very impressed with CSI’s solution team’s consultative approach, being kept involved at every stage, from the initial site survey through to the final installation.

Dexion P90 Silverline racking was installed to create a heavy duty, versatile pallet racking system. With bay loads surpassing 30 tonnes and durable galvanised components, this range of FEM approved racking is guaranteed a long service life for Metrol.

Dexion Hi280 shelving proved to be the best solution for Metrol’s small parts storage, HI280 shelving provides the maximum storage capacity for its depth.

With a modular design based upon a limited number of components and a comprehensive accessories range, these products are a future-proof investment. No matter how Metrol’s requirements develop, their storage system will be capable of adapting to meet them. It will be easy for the company to add to, take away from or rearrange the system in the future, which is particularly useful considering Metrol’s rate of growth.
